# 1013 - Very good sample from Vancouver Island, B.C., Specimens now are hard to get, because location has been collected for years. The Crab fossil measures 6 x 3 cm. and is found in one half of a hard Sandstone/Shale concretion. Normal collecting procedure is to hit the concretion in such a manner as to not destroy the specimen hoping it splits with the fossil and not through it. This is a one of a kind piece! |
